Determine how you want to live. Then develop some systems to protect you from whatever disturbs you. The reason why people are not cheerful is because they have decided to be sad. Once you decide that you will be happy, none can stop you. You lose out on enjoying your happiness because you are anxious about what the future holds for you. You have a fear of the future, and this gives you a feeling of insecurity and an inferiority complex. He who conquers fear, is happy. Once you decide not to be afraid of anyone or anything, there will be no reason for undue stress.
Understand this truth: if God decides, you will get whatever you want; if God thinks otherwise, none can give you anything. Everyone in the world is an instrument of God. So, conquer fear. Trust in the wisdom of the Supreme Power. Have absolute faith. And resolve to be happy always. Then it is happiness and nothing else for you.
