What must we offer God to
get out prayers answered?
God is not for sale. God is
all loving. God loves, God
only loves, only God loves.
God is always waiting ready
to help us. We should all
develop the attitude of
selfless service to
humanity. We should learn
from the sun, the moon and
all the rivers, the lesson
to perform the assigned
duties perfectly without any
break in service and devoid
of any expectation. There
prevails a wrong notion
among men that God will
grant us what we want only
when we ask for it.

Heart never melts standing against even storms
often it had longed for love

My blue boy

Tenets of
Service
|
| |
Commentary by Siddha Yogi Shri Siva Shankar Baba
Serve if you can. If you
are not able to do any service, just carry on with your
worldly responsibilities and keep praying to God. This
too is Yoga.
If
you take up some service, aim at perfection.
Wisdom
can be attained through focused meditation too; but the
mystic poet Bharathiyar's definition of Yoga is, 'Oorukku uzhaithidal Yogam' – rendering service to
society. And, you can evolve gradually from perfection
to excellence.
Karma Yoga
(performance of one's ordained duties) too is an
effective instrument for meditation. Meditation is
focusing your mind on something. So, if you involve
yourself totally, with absolute concentration on
whatever task you have on hand, that becomes meditation.
The mind must not waver anywhere.
Everything that you
do at Samratchana is tailored towards helping you become
enlightened.
It is my duty as
an Acharya (spiritual guide) to point out where
you are right and where you are wrong. That is the only
way you can progress spiritually. If a teacher does
not correct the answers of the students, how can he
claim to be a good teacher? And I am not just a teacher;
I am a Master and therefore I guide you along the
right path, despite whatever effort or time it takes to
train each one according to his or her capacity.

Work for God is
Worship |

Do not believe
that you can, by means of Seva, reform or reshape the
world.
You may or you may
not. That does not matter.
The real value of Seva
is that it reforms you and reshapes you.
Do Seva as a spiritual
discipline.
You will be humble and
happy.
Do not strut about
that you are improving others.
Improve yourself.
Do not attach much
value to the prayer beads within closed doors.
Do not appreciate the
meditation that makes you deaf to the agony of pain.
Seva is the great opportunity to see the God Indwelling
in all. Rama could have rescued Sita unaided, but he
chose to grant the Seva to the Vanaras, for, they were
the Gods who had come to claim that chance.

Letters from
around the globe

Thank you very much very much for
your magic blessings yesterday to my husband's sister
who was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
She had head injury through a bike accident. In the
ambulance, I was holding her and chanting 'Sankaram Siva
Sankaram'. After scanning, doctors said she had inner
wound and they cannot say anything until scanning again
the next day. I consoled her son and told him I will
rescue through Baba and asked him to also chant 'Sankaram
Siva Sankaram'. I assured him that when scanning was
taken the next day, the doctors will say, 'nothing
serious'. Whatever I said happened by your kind
blessings. You heard my prayer. I have no word to
express my thanks to you. You are the All Mighty
Almighty.
