There is a voice of God inside you. He will always direct your actions, telling you 'do this; don't do this'. If you obey, you will always be in joy. If you disobey your inner voice that is the Divine Command, you will land yourself in sorrow. So, always follow the dictums of divinity. Nothing can go wrong with your life.
